Unexpected results when using rand in javascript (ran once)
I have a function in javascript that selects a random integer from 0 to 100:
var rand = function(min, max) {
return Math.floor(Math.random() * (max - min + 1)) + min;
}
When I run it twice, it will return the same number twice, but if I run it once, it should return a new number each time.
Here is what I expect:
rand(1,100)
rand(1,100)
45
rand(1,100)
15
But instead I get this:
rand(1,100)
rand(1,100)
0
rand(1,100)
0
rand(1, be359ba680
